Who are we?

CONduit is an organization of science fiction and fantasy enthusiasts. We host an annual three-day general interest science fiction and fantasy convention which is entertaining, informative, and educational. Our goal with this convention is to meet other enthusiasts plus exchange information, resources and ideas with one another.

The Planning Committee (Concom) invites professionals of the science fiction and fantasy genres each year as guests and lecturers. Local and out-of-area authors, artists, actors, game designers and singers also attend our convention, give presentations and mingle with local fans.

CONduit is run on a non-profit basis and works cooperatively with RFF Utah, a 501(c)3 corporation that donates books to school libraries, classrooms and students. CONduit holds a charity auction each year to benefit RFF Utah's literacy efforts.

Our efforts and events are 100% volunteer-run so involvement from the members is critical to make the convention a success each year. CONduit consistently needs volunteers of all abilities and many age groups to assist at the convention and in preparation for the convention. We ask all members to seriously consider donating some of their convention time to helping the convention run more smoothly.
